An authorization is required to build, maintain, commercialize or cause a wire broadcasting system to be commercialized.

In any case, the following obligations and conditions apply here with regard to:

• The number of dwellings for which the authorization is granted and for which the connection obligation applies
• The technology, structure and quality of the system
• The use of a certain section of the telecommunications infrastructure
• The signal delivery to other wire broadcasting systems
• The allocation and the use of radio frequencies
• The prevention and removal of power failures or interference caused to third parties by the wire broadcasting system
• The time frame in which the wire broadcasting system must be built, after the authorization obtains legal effect
• The protection of the rights of third parties and the compliance with binding treaties and resolutions of an organization under international law applicable in Curaçao
• The technical requirements applicable to wire broadcasting systems and the cable networks connected thereto
• The requirements that apply to the installation of wire broadcasting systems
• The inspection of a wire broadcasting system and the cable network connected thereto
