The transition from over-the-air analog to digital TV is just beginning and Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post (BT&P) is supervising this important transition that will bring to Curaçao the crystal clear pictures and sounds of digital TV. This transition will not only benefit the community by providing high-quality broadcasts and more over-the-air TV channels but it will also benefit Curaçao by making more efficient use of radio spectrum and bringing leading-edge technology to the island’s broadcasting system.

BT&P has chosen the most widely used digital TV standard in the world to be implemented in Curaçao: Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial (DVB-T).
