Vsat system

Vsat system

VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) is part of a satellite communication system that consists of a transmitter and receiver installation that communicates through a satellite dish with other terminals or hubs that are geographically dispersed.

VSAT communication is mainly used for the wireless transfer of real time data, voice and video signals between end users who can be either individuals or businesses.

VSAT communication offers various advantages compared to the regular wired or wireless telecommunications services. For specific applications companies can choose to keep their communication system completely under their own management and therefore be fully independent from other organisations.
