An authorization is required to carry or use specific radio communication equipment on board of a recreational vessel for the purpose of ensuring the safety of the crew and the general protection of vessels at sea. An authorization facilitates the use of the specific equipment on the recreational vessel.

Required documents for authorization request

In addition to the completed application form for the authorization to carry and use radio communication equipment on recreational vessels, the following documents must be submitted:

• Valid Id Owner;
• Valid Registration card vessel;
• Radio certificates (if applicable);
• If you are an authorized person please provide an Authorization letter and Copy ID authorized person;
• If the application is for a company, an extract of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry (not older than 6 months);
