Implementing regulations
In connection with and in addition to the National Ordinance regulating the Post there are implementing regulations in force for the implementation of the articles laid down in the National Ordinance regulating the Post.
The implementing regulations provide further explanation of the specific articles addressed in the National Ordinance regulating the Post, among other things regarding the following topics:
- The manner of registration of couriers of letters other than the postal company, the appurtenant fees for the registration and the supervision on the compliance with the conditions for the transfer speed, transfer guaranty and traceability of the postal items
- The weight, the measurements and the liability frameworks that apply for postal items by the postal company
- The minimum rates that apply for courier services
- The location and measurements of the letter boxes of addressees
