Small-scale sustainable energy

Within the frameworks of the Policy Paper on Regulation of Electricity supply in Curaçao 2011 – 2015 there is a separate policy for the generation of small-scale sustainable electricity supply. This policy sustains the operative technical guidelines and certifying programs in the field of electricity supply in Curaçao and deals with the prescriptions applicable to the coupling of installations for the purpose of generating non business-oriented sustainable energy to the public transport- and distribution network in view of the retro-supply of current.

The prescriptions in the policy for the generation of small-scale sustainable electricity supply are oriented to policy aspects and on the other hand on the technical- and administrative aspects of the installation and equipment for generating of non-business-oriented sustainable energy.
