Radio exams
BT&P organizes twice a year exams in the field of radio communication. The courses prior to the exam are intended for obtaining the certificate VHF Maritime communication, General Operator’s Certificate Marcom-A (GOC), Restricted Operator’s Certificate Marcom-B (ROC) or the Radio amateur authorization (N and C). Radio transmitting equipment for navigation purposes may only be operated by those holding a valid Radio-Operator’s Certificate.

Fees for radio exams
There are costs associated with the registration for the radio exams. In order to participate in the exam the candidate must also pay the exam fee upon registration. After the exam fee has been paid, the candidate will receive a written invitation for the exam.

In case of failure to pay, the registered candidate will not be able to participate in the exam. Fees are not refundable if the candidate withdraws or fails to show up at the exam.
Payment information
You may pay the examination fee at the cashier of Bureau Telecommunicatie en Post or through Maduro & Curiel’s Bank, bank account number 13302608, stating your name and the exam that you register for.
You must send a copy of your payment or proof of deposit to BT&P, by e-mail to examencom@burtel.cw, by fax to +(599-9) 736-5265 or you can drop it off personally at the BT&P office, Beatrixlaan 9, Willemstad Curaçao.
