Certification training programme

A certification training programme for solar PV installers has been developed for Curaçao based on the Dutch (ISSO – BDA) certification system.

The curriculum and learning objectives have been adapted where this was required as a consequence of the policies and installation regulations that apply locally. Therefore the national training programme will have to be followed and corresponding exam will have to be passed.

In the event an installer passed the exam, the installer will be certified, which will be registered by BT&P. A certified installer is also allowed to support customers in the application of a ‘Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar’ (Certificate of No-Objection) at BT&P, which is required to be able to connect the system to the grid.
