On 16 April 2013 a new service contract was signed between BT&P and the Dutch minister of Economic Affairs, represented by the Radiocommunications Agency Netherlands (Radiocommunications Agency) and the Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM), being the former Commission of the Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority.

The service agreement was signed for a period of 4 years. During the period of 4 years, BT&P shall be charged with the actual execution of the telecommunication and post policy and supervision on the telecommunication and postal sector in the Dutch Caribbean on behalf of the Dutch minister of Economic Affairs, represented by Radiocommunications Agency and ACM.

The work activities in the Dutch Caribbean will be conducted from the offices of the BT&P in Bonaire at Kaya Grandi 69, Kralendijk.
