Fuel prices November 2015

Curaçao, 2 November 2015

The Bureau Telecommunication & Post (to be referred to hereinafter as: the Bureau) by means of this press release gives further information on the recently established price adjustments in the tariffs for Mogas 95 and Low Sulphur Diesel (LSD), as agreed upon by the government of Curaçao and which shall be valid during November, 2015.

The composition of the different tariff components is presented on the bottom of this page for the products Mogas 95 and LSD for the month of October, as well as November 2015.

The tariff adjustments which will be valid as of 3 November 2015 primarily originate from the amended purchase prices for Mogas 95, as well as Gasoil LSD

The regulated tariff for Mogas 95 shows a decrease of approximately NAF.0,12 per litre. This is a consequence of the decrease of NAF.0,10 in the purchase price, which is based on the invoices in September 2015. This decrease is also in line with the developments in the international Platts quotation for Mogas 95. Furthermore this month no modifications will occur in the Surplus/Shortage component, because this is always adjusted at the beginning of a new quarter.

The purchase price of the regulated product Gasoil LSD shows a decrease of approximately NAF.0.03 which is based on the invoices of September 2015. Herewith no modifications occur either in the Surplus/Shortage component. The foregoing results in an absolute decrease in the tariff of the regulated product Gasoil LSD of NAF.0,04 per litre.

Furthermore, the tariffs for LPG remain constant in November 2015 in accordance with the present policy.
