Fuel prices December 2015

Curaçao, 27 November 2015

The Bureau Telecommunication & Post (to be referred to hereinafter as: the Bureau) by means of this press release gives further information on the recently established price adjustments in the tariffs for Mogas 95 and Low Sulphur Diesel (LSD), as agreed upon by the government of Curaçao and which shall be valid during December, 2015.

The composition of the different tariff components is presented on the bottom of this page for the products Mogas 95 and LSD for the month of November, as well as December 2015.

The tariff adjustments which will be valid as of 1 December 2015 primarily originate from the amended purchase prices for Mogas 95, as well as Gasoil LSD.

The regulated tariff for Mogas 95 shows a decrease of approximately NAF. 0,04 per litre. This is a consequence of the decrease of approximately NAF.0,04 in the purchase price, which is based on the invoices of October 2015. This decrease is also in line with the developments in the international Platts quotation for Mogas 95. Furthermore this month no modifications will occur in the Surplus/Shortage component.

The tariff for the regulated product Gas Oil LSD remains unchanged, because the stock of the past month is still being used.

Finally, it has been decided to reduce the end user tariffs for LPG 100 and LPG 20 to NAF. 45.00 and NAF. 9.00 respectively, in order to realize easing of the burden on the community through the regulated prices.
