Vision

BT&P is the competent authority regarding the supervision of the market segments telecommunications, post, energy and the airport tariffs and carries out its core activities in a critical and pro-active manner, whereby measures are taken, whenever necessary, on behalf of infrastructures with high quality standards and the continued provision of services rendered by third parties. BT&P does and performs all this from the overriding objective to assist markets (by developing) and by contributing to an attractive and sustainable economic climate.

Mission

BT&P is the multi-sectoral regulator which, in the interest of the Curaçao society, advises in an independent manner about policy (frameworks), the law and regulations and monitors the observance of the regulations oriented to infrastructures which have high quality standards, affordable prices and/or an optimum provision of services, in the sectors of telecommunications, post, energy and additionally in the field of airport tariffs (passenger facility -, landing-, and parking fees). In order to realize this the supervision by BT&P reaches farther than merely enforcing the law and regulations. As an organization it acts from the perspective of a number of fixed key organizational values: independence, transparency, integrity, professionalism and being client-oriented.
