a.  The development of new policy

Through research and market analysis for all sector-related spheres of activity; charting the needs and developments in the market, which serve as a base for formulating advice on new policy, which ultimately results in decision-making by the government.

b.  Instrumentarium development for existent policy

Through research and market analysis for all sector-related spheres of activity; charting the needs and developments in the market, which serve as a base for formulating advice on new policy, which ultimately results in decision-making by the government.In order to create a supporting base for the implementation of already existing policy BT&P disposes of a number of applied methods which structurally serve as instruments for the determination of its approach to policy on behalf of the various sectors. The following methods are applied:

  • Allocation of costs and prescribing conditions for separate accounting procedures
  • Refining of tariff guidelines
  • Specifying quality standards
  • Developing a package of requirements for application to market parties in the framework of entrance to the market
